When Denis applied for journalism school he knew that radio was going to be his primary focus.

Radio is the modern rendition of an ancient form of spreading news, by speaking it. For years Denis has been captivated by what and how stories are told. He is a dedicated listener to most CBC Radio One programs and NPR's This American Life and Radio Lab.

In the winter of 2007 Denis interned with CBC Radio's The House. Here he learned some of the ins and outs of Parliment Hill and how and why a newsroom chooses to cover what it does.

It was at The Radio Room, a CKDU and King's College program where Denis gained most of his experience in putting together a daily show. He produced and hosted shows, he reported on a regular basis and developed a small fan base when he developed a wheatherman persona.
